Design, comfort and battery life
The Aukey EP-T25 has a small matte charging case prone to scratches and fingerprints, not so different from popular models like the QCY T5 (also sold with Aukey brand). It can recharge the earbuds three times fully before needing power via USB-C itself. On the front of the case, you'll find four LED-lights indicating the power level.
The earbuds of the T25 have a short stem and a small oval that goes in your ears. This last part is rounded on the inside, and when placed diagonally in your ears, these earbuds provide a very snug and comfortable fit. It's easy to wear them for hours on end, and the IPX5 waterproof-rating makes them withstand rain and sweat. They do make some noise in your ears when you're smiling broadly.
Although highly dependent on your volume, the Aukey earpieces deliver 5 hours playtime on a single charge - a mediocre yet acceptable score in this price range.
Connectivity and controls
The Aukey EP-T25 has a solid Bluetooth 5.0 connection, offering up a stable connection up to ten meters from your device. It's also possible to switch between mono and stereo modes: you can listen to a single earbud while charging the other, then pick the charged bud up and immediately listen in stereo. Music doesn't automatically pause when you take an earbud out.
Controls on the EP-T25 are limited. With a single tap on either of the buds, you play or pause music. Tap the right bud twice to skip a song, touch the left bud twice to return a track. Unfortunately, the Aukey always gives a beep when you do this, creating annoying waiting time after each touch.
There are no volume controls on the earpieces. You can triple-tap an earpiece to activate the voice assistant on your phone, however.
Calling and watching movies
When watching videos with the Aukey EP-T25, expect a slight delay in the audio in the iPhone's YouTube-app. On other video apps on iPhone and Android, synchronization between audio and video is good. There is a noticeable delay in the sound when you're playing games as almost always on wireless earbuds.
Calling with the Aukey EP-T25 is a terrible experience. You'll enter the call with a loud crackle on the line, and this crackle keeps interfering with your call. Your microphone barely puts your voice through at all, even in quiet indoor areas.

Sound quality of Aukey EP-T25 : Loud!
Sound-wise, the Aukey EP-T25's main feature is its loudness. These go LOUD - louder than any other wireless earphones tested on Scarbir.com.
You only need a third of the iPhone volume slider to have the music blasting in your ears, and on Android too, these can go deafening loud.
The Aukey EP-T25 has a strong coloring sound profile. Without exception, music sounds dark and warm on the Aukey. The lower-mids, like darker electronic tones, darker vocals, and drums, are boosted to an extreme. Because the treble is toned-down heavily, both mid-instruments (like guitars) and vocals stay away from higher notes. Whether it's the sharpest female singers in trance songs or higher-pitched male singers in Tame Impala - vocals sound darker, warmer, bassier than usual.
The T25 provides a heavy mid-bass slam that gives music loads of energy, and the intertwined sub-bass pumps just as easily. It isn't the most refined, but it does pack a punch.
Detail can be found in the soundstage. Even though highs are rolled-off, the EP-T25 has a fairly airy sound, with instruments and effects sounding around you.
The loudness, extreme warmth, soundstage, and punching bass: it has two sides. Due to the completely recessed upper-mids and highs, some genres can be tonally off, like for example classic, jazz and purely vocal songs. Especially rock songs sound nothing like they should.
However... the Aukey EP-T25 gives dance, electronic, deephouse, and techno songs a powerful vibe not easily found on other wireless earbuds.
Aukey EP-T25 comparisons
Aukey EP-T25 vs Edifier X3
The Edifier X3 is a more versatile earphone, with 1,5 hours more battery life, a more pocketable case, and better call quality. It has a more balanced sound, with tighter bass and more emphasis on upper-mids and highs. The Aukey has way more weight in the lower frequencies.
Aukey EP-T25 vs Alien Secret QCC010
The Alien Secret QCC010 has 2,5 hours battery life more, and offers the comfort to wear in bed or under a helmet. While the Aukey has a fair soundstage, the QCC010's is even bigger. It has a more spacious, brighter, more detailed sound, as mids and highs are better represented. The Aukey has a stronger bass.
Aukey EP-T25 vs Mpow MS1
The Mpow MS1 is another great option for bass lovers. It has an even stronger bass section, yet with better separation between basslines and more balanced and detailed mid-tones and highs. Battery, comfort, and video playback are comparable, the Mpow also can go loud enough - yet the Mpow is even cheaper.
Aukey EP-T25 vs Mpow M30
Looking at the price, the Aukey goes up against the Mpow M30, which comes with the same battery life and sport-wings for workouts. The M30 has a much brighter sound, with focus on vocals and treble. Bass is less powerful but quicker than the T25, which can make music sound more uplifting.
Verdict
The Aukey EP-T25 may not offer much musical refinement; it can go extremely loud and has an immersive sound profile for dance and electronic music genres.
